GDPR notice
Last updated: 14 August 2026
This notice explains how the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the UK GDPR apply to APIs Platform. It sits next to the Privacy Policy and does not replace it. If you are in Brazil, see the LGPD notice.
1. Who is responsible
The operator of APIs Platform is the controller of account, billing, usage and support data. When you look up an IP address that belongs to someone else through the geolocation API, you are the controller of that request and we act as processor. Contact: support@apis-platform.com. We have not appointed a separate DPO; that address is the channel for GDPR requests.
2. Your rights
If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
3. Legal bases (art. 6)
Contract (art. 6(1)(b)) for the account and APIs; legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c)) for records we must keep; legitimate interests (art. 6(1)(f)) for security and fraud prevention; and consent (art. 6(1)(a)) for optional marketing and advertising cookies.
4. How to exercise your rights
- Delete the account from Settings. That removes the account, API keys, subscriptions and email tokens.
- Change cookie preferences from Settings or the floating cookie control.
- For access, rectification or portability, email support@apis-platform.com from the address on the account.
5. Response time
We will respond within one month. If a request is complex we may extend that period once, and we will tell you.
6. International transfers
The service runs on Cloudflare’s global network. Personal data may be processed outside the EEA. We rely on the contractual and technical safeguards those providers publish for cross-border transfers, including standard contractual clauses where they offer them.
7. What we keep after deletion
After you delete the account we remove personal identifiers we no longer need. We may retain anonymised usage aggregates and billing references required for accounting, security or law.
