Cookie Policy

Last updated: 23 August 2026

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on APIs Platform and the product sites. Every site uses strictly necessary cookies. The IP Geolocation product site (geolocate-api.com) also loads the Google Ads tag to measure campaign conversions. We do not use Google Analytics or remarketing.

Privacy Policy

1. Strictly necessary

These are required to operate the service and do not need consent. After you sign in we store an httpOnly session cookie on that site (platform_session on the hub; each product uses its own name). A session on any of our sites can offer Continue as on the others; the login page may briefly visit those sites to look for a session. A site only receives its own session cookie after you click Continue there. Signing in on a product can also set the hub session cookie through a one-time transfer. Signing out of one site does not clear the others. We also store first-party preferences for language and presentment currency, inferred from the country of your request until you change them. Security cookies may be set during sign-in and registration, including a first-party cookie that recognises a browser you have already used so we can email you if a new device signs in. They are not used for advertising.

2. Analytics

Not in use. We do not load analytics tools such as Google Analytics. This category will appear in the cookie control only when we start measuring traffic.

3. Marketing

Not in use. We do not load campaign or marketing tags. This category will appear only when we start running campaigns.

4. Advertising

On geolocate-api.com we load the Google Ads tag to measure whether an ad click leads to a sign-up or a paid subscription. The tag may set advertising cookies. We do not use it for remarketing or to show ads on our sites. The hub and the other product sites do not load this tag.

5. Adding or changing tools

If we add Google Analytics, remarketing or another advertising tool, we will update this policy first. The Google Ads conversion tag on the geolocation site is already described above.

6. How to manage them

Use the floating cookie button on any public page, or Cookie preferences in Settings. Preferences are stored in this browser (localStorage) on this domain. Each product domain has its own copy. You can also control cookies in your browser settings. Questions: support@apis-platform.com.
